Brief

The client needed us to work with several beer monitoring systems to measure beer flow, temperature, dispense duration etc. The client needed to be able to monitor performance, efficiency and to detect issues before they impacted on product quality.

Implementation

We designed a PCB with custom electronics to interface to

• beer flow meters installed in the beer lines. Communication with the meters was via a 2 wire RS485 bus.
• spirit dispensing systems over serial and CAN bus. We also interfaced to cellar equipment to monitor performance characteristics of 3rd-party equipment. cellular modem (GPRS & 3G) & Ethernet
